The spiral of life
The Spiral of Life
***
where music fails to bleed
a gorge of tension
and ornamental tea
is left untasted
your lips
illuminate the universe
chilled fingertips
caress away
a guilt of missing
instances of warmth,
and weightless falling
a casual embrace
disarms
and melts away
concrete of infinite,
dismay of in-existence
holding on to allusions
to science of rationality
with fading believes
and blurred desires
Gods! watch us play
in a muddled satire
a bible of bitter rules
and forced possessions
render my indistinct obsession
with you
a cliché
I fail to see a reason for
one hostile confession
we drift with inner voices
saturate with thrill,
delight, and glory
images of Sunday mornings
then conceal our longing
with a whistle of closing doors
